HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
The earlier the better, we always say. But, generally, when it's not busy season, 1-2 weeks in advance is a great timeframe to get your order in.

Absolutely. We have case cakes (8 inch rounds that serve 6) that you can pick up at any time during business hours.

CAN I PICK UP MY CAKE THE DAY BEFORE MY EVENT?
Picking up the cake on the day it is being served is best. However, the day before is also completely fine.

DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY ORDER IN ADVANCE?
Yes. No order is confirmed until we have received a payment of at least half.

DOES MY CAKE NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?
Most of our cakes do not require refrigeration unless it is a cake with whipped creme icing or topped with fresh fruits or fresh fruit fillings, and cheesecakes.
Please also refrigerate your cake if it is not consumed within one or two days.

MY PARTY IS OUTSIDE IN THIS TEXAS HEAT. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?
Keep the cake indoors for as long as possible. Once outdoors, it's best if the cake is kept under a tent or awning or in the shade. Serve the cake within thirty minutes to an hour of being outdoors.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY CAKE?
Room temperature is fine for most cakes except for cakes with whipped creme icing, fresh fruits, and cheesecakes.

Absolutely. Orders can be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
I WANT A SMOOTH CAKE BUT I DON'T LIKE THE TASTE OF FONDANT.
We specialize in butter creme icing, so our cakes are smooth without having to use fondant icing.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR CAKE FLAVOR?
Our signature all-time-favorite flavor across the board is our White almond cake with our White almond butter creme icing.
I SEE THAT YOUR MOST POPULAR CAKE FLAVOR IS WHITE ALMOND BUT I'M ALLERGIC TO NUTS.
Our yummy white almond cake is actually created with an almond imitation and should not affect people with a nut allergy. However, we do work with nut products, so depending on how sensitive your allergy is to nuts, our bakery might not be right for you.
DO YOU HAVE EGGLESS CAKES?
We do not offer eggless cakes.
DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN-FREE CAKES?
We are happy to offer yellow gluten-free cakes and cupcakes.

CAN I BRING IN A BAKED CAKE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE AND HAVE YOU DECORATE IT FOR ME?
Due to health and safety reasons, we are unable to decorate a cake that was not baked at one of our two locations.
CAN I BRING IN A RECIPE FOR YOU TO BAKE/RECREATE FOR ME?
We do not accept requests to bake or recreate recipes.

Absolutely. You're welcome to come in, text, or email us your picture inspiration or we can create something together specific to your vision and needs.

Orders can be cancelled up until 24 hours before pickup. The amount paid on the order will be reserved as store credit with no expiration that can be used in part or whole at any time and can be transferred.
I HAVE CAKE TOPPERS, FLOWERS, ETC. FOR MY CAKE. WHEN DO I NEED TO BRING THESE ITEMS IN?
Fresh flowers can be brought in the day before pickup or day of. Other cake toppers can be brought in when placing the order or at the time of pickup up.
Some toppers are best placed on top when the cake arrives at the event destination. Your cake specialist can help you determine what is best for your particular order.

With advance notice (at least 24 hours), that's generally not a problem. Just give us a call to make your request.
DO BOTH LOCATIONS OFFER THE SAME PASTRIES?
We offer most of the same baked goods in our store-front cases, except for a couple of items. However, if there is anything you would like to order at one location that isn't normally something you can buy in-store, you can place your order in advance (at least 24 hours) and we can accommodate you.
Ex. We sell scones at our Nasa location but not our Friendswood location. But if you place an order for scones at our Friendswood location at least 24 hours in advance, we can have the order ready for you to pick up at Friendswood.

All cakes should be placed on a level surface to prevent sliding.
DO I NEED A SPECIAL VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT OR PICK UP MY CAKE?
A level surface is needed for all cakes.
Large cakes will need a roomy vehicle.
The back of a minivan or SUV is usually suitable for most cake pickups.
Car trunks are acceptable for pickup when it's not scorching hot outside :D

Currently, we don't currently keep a file of previous orders unless you emailed us. However, we're working on it!
DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS/GIFT CERTIFICATES?
We sure do! Please stop by one of our locations to pick up a gift certificate in the amount of your choice.
MY EVENT GOT CANCELLED. CAN I POSTPONE MY ORDER?
If given at least a 24 hour notice, we can change the date of pick-up for your order. Otherwise, in most cases, an order can be picked up and kept frozen for a week.

DO YOU CHARGE A CONSULTATION FEE?
Our consultation fee is $30 that includes up to 5 flavors and 4 guests (in total). If you decide to book with us, the $30 will be deducted from your wedding cake total.

We value your time and commitment. Our fee ensures your appointment will be with our dedicated wedding specialist to craft your cake and answer all your questions about your special day.
HOW LONG ARE CONSTULTATIONS?
Depending on how clear you are on what you want your cake will look like, style, flavors, etc, the consultation can take between 30-45 minutes.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO PLACE A WEDDING CAKE ORDER?
You are welcome to come in and place an order or even email in your wedding cake order if you already know what your dream cake looks like and know which of Jenny's fantastic flavor(s) you love!
